We keep mentioning our experience, and we share that in our bios below, but what we really want to share with you is what that experience has taught us and how it shapes our client engagement, project management and team building.

Dave Haldenby

President
An advocate for the trades, Dave founded Halco with a vision of providing employment opportunities to youth looking to work as an industrial trade in the Eastern Ontario market. After many years of working in the industry, Dave helps to educate young tradespeople, not only in technical experience but also in client relations, accountability, work ethic and team engagement.

Experience: With 25 years of experience as a Certified Millwright, Dave began his apprenticeship through Local 2309. He has worked as Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, Project and Construction Manager, and holds his Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation. Dave has a strong background in Energy, Oil & Gas, and Hydro. He has been supporting Canadian companies (i.e. Shell, Imperial Oil, BC Hydro, Covanta Energy, OPG) with the planning and construction of their facilities since 2011.
